This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to quinine or other related antimalarial medicines like mefloquine, quinidine etc.
G6PD deficiency
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having this rare hereditary condition where the red blood cell function is abnormal.
associated blackwater fever
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a history of blackwater fever associated with quinine use.
Myasthenia gravis
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from this condition where muscles tire rapidly.
Optic neuritis
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from this condition where the nerve fibers of the eye are damaged.
Malaria
This medicine is used to treat uncomplicated malaria which is resistant to Chloroquine.
Dabur Juri Tap Liquid is used in the treatment of malaria, a disease which occurs as a result of mosquito bites. The disease occurs because of malaria parasites that enter the human body as a result of the mosquito bite. These parasites attack the liver and the red blood cells of the body. Dabur Juri Tap Liquid is prescribed by doctors as it kills malaria parasites that invade the red blood cells. Thus, Dabur Juri Tap Liquid is a part of a group of medicines which are known as antimalarials. Dabur Juri Tap Liquid effectively treats malaria, but does not prevent the onset of the disease.
The drug should be taken as per the instructions given by a doctor. It is meant for oral consumption, and it is generally recommended that patients should take it along with food, so as to reduce the chances of a stomach upset. The drug is generally prescribed for about 3-7 days and should be taken after every 8 hours. The dosage and time period of consumption of drug is usually dependent on the severity of your condition and the country you live in. In case of children the dosage is prescribed as per their weight.
Make sure that you do not stop the medicine half way. It is best that you finish the course of the medicine in order to be fully cured of the infection. If you do not complete the prescribed course, it may complicate your condition further.
