Dazit 5 MG Tablet belongs to a class of medications known as antihistamines. It functions by blocking a chemical substance in the body known as histamine, this substance is responsible for causing allergic symptoms in the body.

Dazit 5 MG Tablet is available in the form of tablets, liquids and orally disintegrating tablets. This medicine is generally taken once daily, with or without food. The dosage of this medicine should not be modified unless specifically instructed by the doctor.

There are certain precautions that need to be adhered to before taking the medication. You need to inform your doctor of the following conditions before taking the medication allergic to any medications, problems in the liver or kidney, pregnancy or plans to become pregnant and whether you are taking dietary supplements or using herbal products.

In case you miss a dose, take it the moment you remember it unless this moment is very close to your next dose then skip it. It is strictly advised against taking multiple doses to make up for a missed dose.

Dazit 5 MG Tablet may result in certain side effects in the body such as headaches, dizziness, an upset stomach, a dry mouth, tiredness and muscle pain. In case of women, they may experience painful menstruation. Breathing difficulties are also seen in some patients. It is advisable to consult a doctor if the symptoms turn serious.

Certain food items like grapefruit can interact with medication. Taking Dazit 5 MG Tablet also increases ones susceptibility to drowsiness from alcohol consumption.
